Community Synergy · Bisbee, Arizona
We asked, you answered, we organized.
Back in the spring a lot of you answered our survey about what this community needs to be healthier and more sustainable. We read every answer and identified four key areas to prioritize now: Land and Water, Food and Growing, Natural Building, and Music, Art and Spirit. Together, with members of the community, we established four focus guilds around each identified area and have been digging deeper into the specific priorities you brought forward. Now, Community Synergy’s 501(c)(3) board, along with our guild members and community partners, are working towards building a community that takes care of itself.

The giveaway
Join the Front Yard Garden Program.
In response to your clear ask for more local gardening support, Community Synergy is launching the Front Yard Garden Program during the Eco Fest. Whether your garden is in the front yard, back yard, or doesn’t exist yet, we know it is an upfront priority, and we want to support that. All participants will receive a month-by-month gardening to-do list newsletter to keep their gardens on track all year long. Additionally, participation includes monthly volunteer days, soil delivery, and a free irrigation planning seminar. The program also plans to help organize neighborhood garden networks so participants can team up with nearby gardeners to share work, notes and harvests!
The first 25 Cochise County residents to sign up for the Front Yard Garden Program during the festival will take home a fall garden kit worth $70 with organic plant starts, seed packs, a soil test kit, frost cloth, and hoops to carry you through the cold nights. Everything you need to grow food in your own yard this season. First come, first served.

Join the synergy
We know we can’t do this alone. Get involved by joining a guild today.
The festival is one day. The guilds are the rest of the year. Small teams of neighbors doing the work:
Land & Water Land and Watershed stewardship, land acquisition, conservation. |
Natural Building Owner-builder support, natural construction workshops, community center development. |
Food & Growing Growers’ hub, front-yard gardens, community farms. |
Music, Arts & Spirit Events, gatherings, healing, and the culture that holds the work together. |
If one of these pulls at you, join it.
